Garland Flowers

Tord Boontje is among the current crop of designers revolutionizing every-day products with an aesthetic that softens stark and undecorated modernism with a burst of nature and lyrical expressionism. For the Netherlands native, modernism doesn’t have to mean minimalism, technology doesn’t have to abandon emotions or the senses. This garland of flowers and leaves wraps around the *included* cord and fitting to create a floating poem of metal, nature and light. Available in silver, brass, black chrome and (the very-popular) rust. The garland comes flatpacked. Simply bend and shape it around the fitting and bulb to create volume--just like flower arranging! Suggestion: Go to your local bulb shop and request an Edison bulb. The graphic filigree adds to the effect.

Sweet Pea

It is a well-known fact that I am a sucker for packaging. By looks alone this wine screams, "me!" Now, I'm not a big wine drinker, but it doesn't sound too bad either...(It is also well known that I'm not much for words...besides, the site gives a scrumptions description...)...

'Two parts real Washington grown apples, one part natural peach essence, a dash of artful blending and a pinch of domestic charm…you haven’t been this happy since your first easy bake oven. One glass will send you right back to grandma’s kitchen and the sweet smell of homemade apple pie. Pleasing as peach cobbler and refreshing as a cool glass of Riesling on a warm summer evening, Sweet Pea is ripe with golden delicious apple flavors, hints of peachy sweetness and a crisp, clean finish. Who says housewives have to be desperate?'

Fall Shopping Spree and Anthropologie!!!

I love Anthropologie...love, love, love. I also love fall clothes. Well, my season has arrived (and need I remind you of the title of my blog?)...I absolutely must have these cardigans. The charcoal Blossom House Cardigan, by Sweet Sparrow, is just too sweet (and possibly my favorite of the two). Though a favorite is hard to pick here because the green Wildflower Cardigan, by Sleeping on Snow, is equally as beautiful.

Both are $128 at Anthropologie

Okay, one more cardigan from Anthropologie...It is fun, it is funky, it is cute, and it is quirky (in other words, it is perfect for me =P). The cropped "cardi" in marmalade (the color name in itself makes drool worthy), by Charley & Robin, definitely has my name on it!

Servietta

All I have to say is...I love it!

Happymeat says it best..."Her name is Servietta and she is a napkin holder made in Switzerland some time in the 1950s"..."I love how the napkins make up her skirt, and she is the perfect 'conversation piece' at any dinner party."

How do I find such a find?

The Sweetest Thing

This is absolutely the cutest, sweetest, softest doll you will ever find. I just wish I had a little girl to give it to! It is so darling I'm tempted to just buy it in hopes of a future daughter...sigh...

This sweetheart is designed by Florence Wetterwald, one of the founders of blabla, and knitted by Peruvian artists. They make everything with natural fibers of exceptional quality grown in Peru, making the line irresistibly soft and cuddly.

Sweetest Desk Top Pal

How cute is this little guy?!

Bring the sounds of the treetops to your desk top with the fun and fanciful Magnetic Birdie.

The colorful Magnetic Birdie keeps paper clips at your fingertips, and when you attach a clip, or take one off, it chirps a happy song.

If you, or that grumpy guy in the next cubicle, would prefer to keep your magnet chirpless, simply reinsert the plastic tab in the back.

"Incredible Pictures, Incredibly Easy"

The "Picturetown" commercial sold me. I NEED a new camera, and the Nikon D4ox is it! 10.2 mega pixels, continuous shooting at up to 3 pictures per second, and it works with other Nikon lenses! I don't know anything about actual picture taking, but this seems like the perfect camera to learn on. Most of all, I want beautiful pictures!

The Most Wonderful Bag in the World

I love the blossom print by Orla Kiely, and this purse is to die for! It truly is the purse of my dreams. If I had this purse I would never want for another purse again! I absolutely must have it, but (gasp) it is discontinued...Whatever will I do?! Not that I could afford it. If it is last season shouldn't I be able to find it on a clearance rack somewhere? Can we say Christmas in July?...Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is this purse!
